Credit Analysts - Capital Markets
Our client is a leading European Bank and they have an urgent requirement for a number of credit specialists within the Credit Unit in their Capital Markets division. The successful candidates will report to the Chief Credit Officer. These positions will provide significant learning and career enhancing opportunities in a key business activity for the Division. The successful candidates will develop a deep and advanced understanding of credit, a core banking skill, and will become very familiar with a diverse range of Corporate, Structured Finance and Treasury products.

The Role:
- Advising the decision-makers on key factors impinging on specific cases
- Ratification of credit limits, in support of Line Management
- Agreeing grading of credit proposals submitted by Corporate Banking & Global Treasury Business
- Providing support to Senior Management in the Credit Unit
- Having input into the development of Credit Policy and Best Practice
- Providing front-end guidance in respect of credit matters, for new or unusual proposals
- Establishing effective relationships with internal colleagues

The Candidate:
- Graduate in business or related discipline
- Additional professional qualification (accounting, CFA, etc) advantageous
- Min 4 years direct experience within credit
- Above average analytical skills
- Proven relationship management experience
- Strong systems and IT knowledge
- Good communicator, both written and oral.
