Corporate Communications Specialist
Our client is an Irish Plc with a global business headquartered in Dublin. As part of the ongoing improvement and development of their corporate client relationships they now wish to appoint a Communications Specialist. Sitting with the Investor Relations Function the team is about preserving shareholder value and enabling the company to achieve a fair valuation of its financial performance in the marketplace. This is achieved by effectively communicating corporate strategy and the Group’s investment proposition to external audiences to enable investors to make an informed investment decision about the company. The function also effectively communicates investor feedback internally to help with strategy execution and decision-making that impacts the company's performance. The Communications Specialist will report to the Head of Investor Relations.
The Role:
- Responsible for optimum delivery of events like live webcasts, investor visits, conference calls
- Critical responsibility for communications relating to annual/semi-annual results
- Ongoing communications support to the COO, CEO and CFO
- Preparing documentation to support the Investor Relation' s communications process
- Work with management team to develop company's communications materials f
- Responsible for managing the content and messaging of all external corporate communications
- Ongoing maintenance and development of corporate web site
- Managing the annual report process
- Responsible for transmissions and website communications
The Candidate:
- Graduate with at least 7 years work experience
- Team player with the ability to contribute both individually and as part of a small team
- Self confidence with ability to engage with senior executives and external advisors
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
- Knowledge of MS Office suite essential (especially PP)
- Experience of Website management and Corporate communications media
- Self motivated with the desire for personal and company achievement
- Strong communications background essential
- Good presentation & communications skills
